Fleckney Walking Club Away Weekends 2023

To complement our fortnightly Sunday and summer evening Thursday walks, we take a weekend break three times a year. This year the away weekends are planned for 12th to 14th May at Forest of Dean, 7th to 9th July at Chester, and 22nd to 24th September at Chiltern Hills.

There are usually three walks planned for the weekends; a late Friday morning walk of about 5 to 6 miles once everyone has arrived, a walk of 7 to 9 miles on the Saturday, and another short walk on the Sunday.

Following the Saturday walk the members generally gather for a meal and a chinwag in a local hostelry.

The organisers of the away weekends will suggest accommodation possibilities but this does not prevent members from seeking out their own.

Please contact the organisers for details of the walks and their start locations (and times!).
