Sunday Walks

All Sunday walks start with a warm welcome at Fleckney village car park (///loses.always.huts) at 9:30 a.m. It’s a relaxed, friendly meet‑up — perfect if you’re joining us for the first time.

Our Sunday programme alternates weekly between Long walks (six to nine miles) and Short walks (four to six miles), so you can choose the pace that suits you best.

Your walk leader will explain everything you need to know: how far we’re going, what the paths are like, how many stiles to expect, and where we’ll stop for a well‑earned drink.

For Long walks, please bring your own food and drink — it keeps things simple and ensures everyone has what they like.
We recommend sturdy walking boots and weatherproof clothing. The countryside is beautiful, but it does enjoy the occasional surprise shower.

Sunday walks (long and short) – Meet in Village Car Park by 9.30 am.
Evening walks May to August – Meet in Village Car Park by 7 pm. - September by 6.15 pm.

The Fleckney Walking Club

The Fleckney Walking Club meets every other Sunday for either a Long walk (six to nine miles) or a Short walk (four to six miles), usually with a well‑earned pub or coffee stop along the way.

We gather at the Village Car Park, High Street, Fleckney, by 9:30 a.m. (///loses.always.huts).

Sturdy walking boots and weatherproof layers are recommended, and bringing your own refreshments is always a good idea.

In the summer months, we also enjoy evening walks of around four to five miles — all local, but never the same route twice.

The annual cost to join the Fleckney Walking Club is £5.
