Fleckney, Kibworth, Saddington

A simple local walk from Fleckney and along Mill Lane for a bit. We then turn off toward Kibworth, find the golf course and walk across it. When we get to Grange Farm we head for Debdale Wharf and thus to the canal.
We almost get as far as Foxton Locks (maybe we do, maybe we don’t!) and then head across fields and over bumps to get to Saddington. Here be the pub stop.
Once refreshed, if there’s any fight left in us, we make our way back to Fleckney by way of the Leicestershire Round and the sparkling new footpath to get us onto Main Street.
There are a few stiles, some undulation (nothing you haven’t done before) and plenty of opportunity for refreshments along the way.
Oh, it’s about 9.5 miles.
TuesDay Walks
These walks are longer than average and range from 8 to 13 miles.
Walks starting from the car park will be at the earlier time of 9:00 a.m.
Information about trips by Bus will be posted on the website and the WhatsApp group.
Provisionally, walks are planned for alternate Tuesdays.
