Arrangements have now been made for the second away break of the year. This will be at Fenney Bentley in Derbyshire. This is close enough to Fleckney for those not wishing to stay away but would enjoy joining the group for a day’s walking in a very attractive area.

Our base will be Ashbourne Heights Holiday Park (///quaking.changing.charities). This is a park that offers all types of accommodation from camping to self-catering and many more facilities. If preferred there is also plenty of accommodation on offer in Fenney Bentley, Ashbourne, and surrounding areas. Ashbourne Heights gives direct access to the Tissington Trail and is not far away from Dovedale and much more – all good walking countryside. Walks will be organised for Friday 28th and Saturday 29th and also Sunday if requested.

If you would like to join the Club for the weekend please let Janet or Kathy know via the website when you have booked accommodation. Also we need to know if you would like to join just for one day’s walking so that we will be expecting you and not start the walk without you!
